Nintendo Australia has just announced that Starfox 64 3D will hit Australian and New Zealand shores on September 15th. This means that the game will be in all English speaking regions within a week of each other. The European release is on the 9th of September, the American release on the 11th and Australia just a few days after on the 15th. The game is out now in Japan.
Starfox 64 3D like Ocarina of Time 3D is a remake of the Nintendo 64 classic and features all new redone graphics and effects. Oh and it’s also in 3D, that’s pretty nifty.
There’s four player single and multicard multiplayer as well. You’ll be able to snap pictures of yourself to place above your craft in the game and the game will take snaps of you when you kill someone. Kind of like a real life kill-cam. There’s no online multiplayer in Starfox 64 3D.
Now all that’s left to wonder, did the entire Ocarina of Time debacle ensure this game got such a good release date. It’s also odd that Nintendo Australia has announced a release date for a game so far in advance. We’re not complaining about either points though. Confirming the release date so far out and having it so close to the other regions will mean they’ll be less imports we’re sure.
So who’s up for some Starfox 64 3D then?
