Aussie developers announce new series of WiiWare titles, also coming to Nintendo 3DS Local developers Nnooo have finally taken the wraps off their next WiiWare title, its called escapeVektor and not only will it be coming to the Wii, but Nnooo say itll be hitting the Nintendo 3DS at some point in the future.
The game will be showcased at this years GDC but theyve also released a trailer of the game for you to check out right away. escapeVektor is styled in a classically retro way and you play as Vektor who must escape from your own Wii consoles CPU. Each enemy type has different hunting patterns and intelligence, youll unlock new abilities as the games difficulty ramps up. The game will be released in chapters with each game in the series unlocking more of Vektors past and memories.
"We wanted to bring back some of the simplicity and style of the old arcade games but with a modern twist", said Nic Watt, Creative Director at Nnooo. "For some of us, it will be like reliving our youth. We want this to feel like a blast from the past with cool, stylized graphics and a great sound track."
This is Nnooos first WiiWare title since the launch title Pop, which has been highly successful.
