Final five AR card designs revealed

Featuring Mario, Link, Kirby, Samus and Pikmin

The rest of the AR cards that come with the Nintendo 3DS have so far been a mystery. We’ve all seen the "?" mark card since the 3DS’s first appearance last year, but always wondered what will the rest look like. Now we know.

Thanks to a naughty retailer who has already gotten their hands on a final boxed Nintendo 3DS, the final five designs have been revealed. All the pictures of the cards and the 3DS unboxing have since been removed, but thanks to the magic of the internet, nothing stays hidden.

 

What’s still a mystery though is, what do all the cards do? We know the game in the "?" Mark card, but what about the rest? With them being Nintendo characters we’re hoping the games have something to do with their respective franchises (the Zelda card being a Zelda minigame for instance). All of the cards activate and are placeholders for the AR Games; there is no actual data on the cards.

Update: Its been confirmed that the other cards just show a statue of each character and nothing more.
