Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version announced for eShop

Sample demo to be available on the Nintendo 3DSs eShop from day one

Capcom has just announced that the recently classified Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version will be a downloadable demo of the final Mega Man Legends 3 game. The game will be an early version of the game and one that fans have and will continue to have input on. In fact, it will be Capcoms first game co-developed by gas. The game will also introduce a new character called Barrett.

Youll be playing as Barrett in this sampler and be testing out the new close combat gameplay style. Once youve finished the core parts of the demo, youll get access to parts of the game that are yet to be finished and unlock the debug menu to muck around with.

This is a first isnt it? Essentially, beta access to a game on a Nintendo console, a sign of things to come?
