Its not even out yet and Nintendo has pushed a system update. Nintendo Japan has already updated the firmware of Japanese consoles once and now the rest of the world can join in the fun… if everyone had their console already. Nintendos Europe, Australia and America have issued the first system update to the console, before its even out.
Apart from a few miscellaneous fixes, the main addition (like the Japanese version) is the addition of the 3D Movie channel. This channel contains one 3D movie for you to watch and depending on the region youll get a different one. Europeans and Australians can enjoy a relaxing scenic video and Americans get a 3D version of a music video from OK Go. You know the treadmill guys?
Neither update is as cool as the Japanese version, but its good to see everyone getting the updates all at the same time.
Bring on the May update Nintendo!
