Death to jump in the saddle.
Death takes over from War as the lead character in the forthcoming Darksiders 2, publisher THQ has announced.
The sequel's story will run parallel with that of the acclaimed 2010 adventure, and sees Death embark on a quest to redeem his brother � the aforementioned War � and save mankind.
According to THQ's announcement, on his way he'll discover that an ancient grudge may represent an even greater threat to the future of the human race.
